We Organize
and Build
We promote shared learning and are building a collective movement to advance the right to food. We support grassroots organizers, community advocates, small-scale farmers and fishers to build alliances for legislative, policy and practice changes at local and state level.
We Shift
the Narrative
We challenge the ideas that charity, capturing food waste, or industrial agriculture are the solutions to hunger, injustices in the food system or the climate crisis. We use compelling stories that support a growing movement of people to work together towards a better future for people and the planet rooted in human rights.
We Learn and Connect Globally
We connect with social movements, networks, researchers and human rights advocates around the world. We learn about ways of working that help us advance the right to food here in the United States and contribute to the global struggle for the right to adequate food and nutrition everywhere.
